Dan and Adam assume lead roles in Searls Land management move
Searls Land is marking its 15 years in business with a revamp at the top of its management structure.
The land agency, founded by Tim Searl in 2010, has a combined industry experience of more than 100 years across the team and the personnel changes mark a new era for the company as it celebrates its milestone birthday.
We have appointed two new directors to the business who, going forward, will control all operational matters. Dan Acutt, who joined Searls land in its first year of operation, and Adam Galbraith who joined in 2014 will form this exciting new management team.
Tim said: “Both Dan and Adam are exceptionally well regarded within our industry and their skills and talents complement each other extremely well. They are both fully deserving of the opportunity to take the company forward and I look forward to this exciting new era.
“That said, I’ll still be on hand in an advisory capacity on operational business and will remain in control of all financial, HR, charity work and of course, entertainment. In addition, I will be hunting out contacts old and new at networking events and will probably fit in a few lunches and rounds of golf.”
Dan said: “No two days are alike in this business, and it’s that variety that I appreciate about working at Searls Land. I am eager to collaborate closely with Adam to keep pursuing the work I love and to explore how far we can advance the business together.”
Adam, who began his career at Searls as a land negotiator, expressed his enthusiasm, adding: “I’m eager to dive into this new role and carry on the great legacy that Tim has established. We have an incredible team of skilled individuals and an already successful platform to build upon, so watch this space.”

The changes are effective immediately.
